State Farm Agency Becomes a Community Cornerstone

Congratulations to George and Linda Rowe's State Farm Agency on becoming a charter member of Smith County Habitat's Community Cornerstones! "Hot Diggity Dog It's Friday-Hot Dogs for Habitat" was a blast and a huge success.

On June 25, approximately 100 people stopped by the agency at 6616 S. Broadway in Tyler to have a hot dog and support Habitat for Humanity.

Being a Community Cornerstone is not only about raising funds for Habitat. "It's about team-building," said State Farm agent Linda Rowe. "The staff had a wonderful time planning and participating in the event." As she watched her staff serving hot dogs, Rowe commented "you can't get the experience of giving back to the community any other way."

Habitat for Humanity of Smith County says a huge THANK YOU to George and Linda Rowe and their staff: Robert Quijano, Hope Anderson, Arlene Arroyo, Heather Stewart, Veronica Boyce, and Martha Birtcher.
