Habitat for Humanity of Smith County, volunteers, staff and Partner Families salute our supporters and sponsors!  Their work during 2005 to build 8 decent, affordable houses was a blessing!  Our goal for 2006 and beyond is 10 houses a year.

As we approach 17 years of service to the community, helping low income families gain the stability of homeownership, we are proud to know and work along side all of you.  We know that dedication to the elimination of poverty housing in our community is not always easy.  As Dr. Clarence Jordan, spiritual founder of Habitat and leader of Koinonia Farms, said, “Working with man is never easy.  It is messy but we must accept the call.”
